New Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has been quarantined for five days before joining the Red Devils.
Ronaldo has returned from Juventus for €15m plus €8m in bonuses after joining Real Madrid 12 years ago.
The 36-year-old has just received permission from the Portuguese Football Federation to leave the national team’s camp. That after completing his mission due to his yellow card quota. And will face a ban in his next match against Azerbaijan Tuesday September 7.
Ronaldo is reported to be traveling to England to prepare to join Manchester United, but is initially required to self-isolate for five days as a precaution against the spread of the coronavirus.
Ronaldo, who recently broke the all-time 111 international goals record. He is expected to begin training with Manchester United midway through next week. And that sets it up for Newcastle’s debut in front of fans at Old Trafford on Saturday September 11.
